32-axis, high-speed motion controller

Chatsworth, Calif.—Turbo PMAC is a CPU board that controls as many as 32 motion axes (in up to 16 independent coordinate systems) with either an analog, digital, or Macro Ring interface. Turbo PMAC employs new DSPs (Motorola 56300 family) to add performance to Delta Tau's PMAC and PMAC2 motion controllers, as a piggyback CPU board. It is available in PMAC1 (analog), PMAC2 (digital), and "ultralite" (Macro Ring) versions-in PC and VME bus form factors.
